Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between BIKECORD (the "Company") and users regarding the use of the mobile app and related services (the "Service").

2. Effect & Changes

These Terms take effect when posted within the Service or on this page. The Company may amend them within the limits of applicable law, announcing the effective date and reason in advance.

3. Formation of the Agreement

The agreement is formed when a user agrees to these Terms and completes sign-up (Google/Apple/Kakao/LINE/Facebook social login). Users are responsible for managing their own account and login credentials and may not transfer or lend them to third parties.

4. The Service

The Company provides services including the following; specific features may change under service policy.

Safety notice: Safety features such as SOS are supplementary and do not replace official emergency services. In an emergency, always contact official emergency numbers first.

5. Paid Services & Refunds

1. Gems

Gems are virtual goods that a member may purchase for a fee or receive at no cost. Purchases are processed under the billing policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play. Gems cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash and expire if membership is lost.

3. Withdrawal & refunds

Payment, withdrawal, and refunds for paid services follow the billing policies of the Apple App Store and Google Play and applicable law. Refunds may be limited for already-consumed content where withdrawal is legally restricted; for subscriptions, a refund for the current billing period may be limited once voice channels have been used at least once in that period.

7. User Content

Users retain rights to the content they create. The Company may use such content to the extent necessary to operate, display, and promote the Service. The Company may remove or restrict content that violates the law or these Terms without prior notice.

8. Location-Based Services

Cafe discovery, maps, AR, and channel location sharing use your location. Processing of location data follows the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes & Suspension

The Company may change or suspend all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons, and will endeavor to provide prior notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Company is not liable for damages arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, including force majeure, user fault, or failures of third-party services (carriers, app stores, external APIs).

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are subject to the competent court under applicable law.
